Welcome to Craigmore Christian Church
Regardless of weather, we will be having a full on water night.
Wear clothes that can get absolutely drenched, a towel, and a change of clothes.
On the 1st of March we will be heading down to Harry Bowey Reserve after the 10:30am service to enjoy a time of fellowship at the park.
BYO food, chairs, and sports equipment. (The Cold Room at the church will be available to store food during the church service)
Water & Cordial will be provided.
This Saturday we will be meeting in the church café area from 9am to 10:30am to pray. We will be praying specifically for our church, for all the Church ministries, for our leadership, for our School, and for our positive impact on this community. Your prayer, Our prayers together, will be absolutely vital to the life and ministry of our church!
We honestly believe that prayer changes things! It changes hearts, it changes situations, it changes circumstances, it invites God into the situation. I love this quote that I heard recently… “There is power in prayer! When people work… they work. But when people pray… God works!”
So… if you’re a part of our family at Craigmore… if you’re committed to the life and work of the Lord here at Craigmore… we invite you to come and pray with us on Saturday morning! Hope to see you there!
Pastor Phil Continues our study in 1 John looking at 1 John 2:3-6
3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,
5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
As we press into our study of John's first epistle he tells us that the foundation of his message is that God is Light and that in Him there is no darkness at all.
It seems obvious that the pure righteousness of God's holy character has some very powerful implications for us, if we want to live in fellowship with Him. The result is an unavoidable conflict between the sin that inevitably rises up within us to challenge the life that is birthed within us as the children of God in Christ.
If we are to enjoy a deep abiding sense of assurance of our salvation in Christ, if we are to maintain integrity in our profession, and if we are to fully be the expression of God's love to a world that is lost and fallen, then the reign of sin in our hearts must be broken and banished.
This is what it means to walk in the light. John's aim is to help us find that plane of living. Let's be open to hiw God wants to do that in each of us.
Sunday, March 1st - 12:30pm @ Harry Bowey Reserve
BYO Lunch, chairs, & sports gear

Ladies Craft mornings were started by Leila Lydeamore & Rosemary Chapman and have been running for 37 years.
Most of the ladies who currently attend are non-church goers, so it is a good opportunity to share the gospel as well as craft.
If there are any ladies that would like to join us, to either teach a new craft or learn one, you would be very welcome.
Meetings are on Thursday mornings and our first meeting this year will be on Thursday, 20th February at 10am to plan our activities for the year.
